The main attraction of Murcia is the Cathedral. This magnificent building was under the construction for nearly 400 years. It has three facades , each one of which refers to a different historical period. Its architecture has mixed  and absorbed many styles and different cultures.

The city has also more than 15 beautiful churches built from XIII to XVIII century.

There is a Museum of Fine Arts, with works of José de Ribera.

In Murcia there is also Museum of Archaeology. The town has a beautiful botanical garden. It is one of the biggest student cities in Spain.
